If you ever visited the west side of downtown Kansas City you know about this amazing little area and the offerings it brings to Kansas City and those who know about the area. Summit Street with its tree lined and covered roadway features amazing older homes mixed in with ultra modern newer homes that seem to add to the area without making one feel as if it doesn't belong.
With smaller shops and restaurants popping up this area is one of my favorites. With warmer weather coming, I am looking forward to enjoying a cold beer in the beer garden at Westside Local while tasting their interesting menu. Summit Street is simply a gem here in Kansas City.
